An initial 30-minute assessment session is arranged for the client and therapist to decide whether or not counselling or psychotherapy is the appropriate next step.


Thereafter sessions will usually last for one hour. Concessions may be offered subject to individual circumstances.

Clients are asked to give 48 hours notice of cancellation; failure to do so will usually result in payment of fee in full.

Clients are offered the opportunity to work with Katie or Jane in a safe and strictly confidential setting. Both Jane and Katie see clients on a one-to-one basis and in groups and work in both Edinburgh and East Lothian.
